I'm back, sort of. Well, I thought it would at the least be good to have a few entries in the month of April so I wouldn't have two completely empty months. I'll try to write frequently, but I just don't how well I'll do. I can't even begin to decribe what has been going on since I wrote last, so I won't really. Suffice to say that it hasn't been anything really bad or tragic, I've just been very busy and very lazy. No real reason why I haven't written, but I'm feeling more motivated now. My computer totally crashed last weekend and I lost everything. I had all of my software backed up and some of my personal stuff,but I didn't have my web stuff saved or the most recent work I'd done for the Stop AIDS site. So that was about 12 hours of work wasted. Right now I'm downloading this entire site and it's making everything work very slowly - so there may be words missing here and there. Anyway, I will officially finish with my semester in a little more than a week. I won't be totally done because I will have to write my thesis this summer, but school as I have always known it will no longer be a part of my life. I won't be able to enjoy it until I'm finished with this paper that I am writing (or rather putting off writing). My plan was to work all weekend on it. I haven't started yet. But it's not due until Friday and I've already requested off work for Wednesday. I'll work on it today when I get up. So school is almost over and I do actually have a job when I'm finished. I have accepted a full-time position beginning May 11 at Neoglyphics. I have been working for them since the fall as an intern and most recently freelancing. I told them I was interested in a job and they said great. Everyone there loves me. I do actually like it there a whole lot and am very happy. Plus I'm guaranteed a certain amount of security as my student loans come due in the near future. I'm looking forward to a good summer. 
I think that since I wrote last I have dated one guy for about a month and gone out with two others a few times. That's about it. I have my eye on this new guy, but I don't think it's going to happen. He's a great guy and totally f the type I'd like to be with (I say that because I don't think that I have a type, but I have pes I like). Anyway, I don't think he's really interested and I think our lives are quite different anyway. Oh well.Oh yeah, I had my thesis show about two weeks ago. This is apicture of my fan club at the opening. I have pictures of the work that I will put up soon. That was of course another reason I was so busy. Trying to work, o to classes and get my show ready. I exhibited with three other people and our work went vey well together. There was a lot of humor in the show which was missing from all the other thesis shows. It looked really good. That's enough for now, I need to go to bed. I am sort of depressed about a lot lately and I can't figure out if it's just stress or somehting else. I'll delve into it more later. |
